The Pediatric Update Conference is held annually to increase the knowledge of regional physicians on current trends and treatments in pediatric medicine. Objectives include:
- Enhanced care to pediatric patients by increasing the ability to diagnose and manage patients in pediatric and subspecialty areas
- Discussion and exploration of current advances and treatments in pediatric medicine

Serving as an educational resource to regional pediatricians and family practice physicians
Continuing Education
"The Grand Rapids Medical Education & Research Center is accredited by the Michigan State Medical Society Committee on CME Accreditation to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Grand Rapids Medical Education & Research Center for Health Professions designates this educational activity for a maximum of 8.5 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity."

Registration
Deadline for registration is April 9, 2010. We reserve the right to cancel this conference if necessary. To register, print and fill out the registration form. Mail it with full payment to:

Conference fees: are based on the total number of half day sessions you will be attending. Meals during any of the sessions will be included along with continental breakfast on April 23, 2010.
$60 - Half Day Conference Rate: Physicians
$40 - Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Spectrum Health, Hospital Liaison Committee, Partners in Children's Health Hospitals physicians and other healthcare professionals
$20 - Residents and medical students

Free parking is available at the Fulton Street Lot located across the street from the LV Eberhard Center under US-131.
Driving Directions to the Eberhard Center
From Muskegon: take I-96 East to US-131 south. US-131 south to the Pearl Street exit, #85B.Turn right on Pearl Street for one block to the Robert C. Pew Grand Rapids Campus. Approximately 41 miles from Muskegon.
From Detroit/Lansing: take I-96 West to I-196 West (Gerald R. Ford Freeway) to the Ottawa Street exit #77. Follow Ottawa Street and continue to Fulton Street. Turn right at Fulton Street; continue for one block, passing beyond the US-131 overpass to our campus. Detroit is approximately 158 miles from the Robert C. Pew Grand Rapids Campus and Lansing is approximately 67 miles.
From Kalamazoo: take US-131 North to the Pearl Street Exit, #85B. Turn left onto Pearl Street and proceed one block beyond the US-131 overpass to our campus. Kalamazoo is approximately 50 miles from our Grand Rapids Campus.
From Northern Michigan: take US-131 South to the Pearl Street exit, #85B. Turn right on Pearl Street for one block to the Robert C. Pew Grand Rapids Campus. Traverse City is approximately 139 miles from the Grand Rapids Campus.
